We founded Cursive New York in 2005 in the hopes of bringing some wonder and excitement to the mostly sedate world of fine paper.

Our love of the handmade and unusual objects that we personally collect informs our range for the shop. Through our travels abroad, we discover emerging designers that are not represented in the United States. In addition, we carefully cull from a select group of American designers to realize our vision.

Each object, adornment or piece of paper is envisioned to uplift, inspire and brighten the spirit and soul of the person who is the lucky recipient.
