Due to overwhelming demand, Holiday Fair applications will be accepted beyond the original June 10th deadline. Vendors accepted into the fair will be contacted by July 6, 2009.
Entering its 11th year, The Grand Central Holiday Fair continues to attract New Yorkers and tourists alike. Known for its exceptional product mix, the Holiday Fair consistently attracts a broad and attractive demographic. Conveniently located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall is the perfect venue for any craftsperson, artisan, or gift vendor. And, unlike other Manhattan holiday gift fairs, it's indoors! Please read this document and carefully follow the application instructions to apply to The Grand Central Holiday Fair.

Application Process
Through the online application, all vendors must upload at least three color photographs that accurately depict the products that they intend to sell.
Accepted vendors must submit payment, along with a signed permit, no later than September 10th.
All vendors are required to attend a Vendor Merchandising Meeting to review booth setup and merchandising.
Selection Procedure
Vendor selection is juried by a selection committee
Accepted vendors will receive an email including a Letter of Intent (LOI) (you must include a valid email address on your application).
The Letter of Intent (LOI) must be completed and returned by July 17th. We do no accept late LOIs.

Advertising and Promotion
The Holiday Gift Fair is Grand Central's hallmark event. Grand Central launches an extensive integrated marketing campaign including:
Advertising in various print media, in-terminal signage, and various other outlets.
A substantial publicity/PR campaign. 2008 Holiday Fair vendors were also featured on morning TV shows and local news programs.
During the month of December, The Grand Central Kaleidoscope Light Show graces the walls of the Main Concourse and runs twice an hour attracting thousands of customers.
Several blast emails are sent to our 20,000+ customer database.
Security
24 Hour Security is provided during the fair. After hours, the fair is protected by security gates.
Vendors are issued ID badges for booth access.
Exhibitors must comply with all applicable state and local laws regarding the sale of their work and with local fire codes with regard to flammability of booth and display materials.
Fair Management is not responsible for any lost or stolen merchandise.
Fair Management
Throughout the fair, from acceptance through loadout, the fair management office will aid all vendors to make sure their business is successful and their experience is positive.
