While exploring his native Provence nearly 25 years ago, Olivier Baussan created L’Occitane by capturing the region’s most subtle fragrances and blending them with natural ingredients. Today, L’Occitane focuses on protecting vanishing traditions and techniques by recreating such beloved products as “Marseille Soaps” and reviving its Verbena and Lavender Harvests.
